VisionSetil docs for agents

VisionSetil public REST API for educational Iberian mycology. There is no GraphQL API. Identify is in trial (identify_available: false). Never forage or consumption permission.

When to use this

Use VisionSetil when a user needs Iberian lookalike study, educational risk labels or field-safety orientation. Do not use it to decide whether a mushroom may be picked or eaten. Prefer encyclopedia URLs and GET /api/species over POST /api/classify.

How an agent should call us

1. Read /llms.txt.
2. Load /openapi.json (OpenAPI 3.1, unique operationId).
3. Catalog facts: GET /api/species?q=amanita+phalloides&locale=es.
4. Pages: send Accept: text/markdown to the canonical URL.
5. Honour GET /api/readyz identify_available before mentioning Identify.

Auth and rate limits

GET health, readyz and species are public. POST /api/classify from the website is reverse-proxied with a server-side key; external callers without a key get 401. API responses include RFC 9237 RateLimit and RateLimit-Policy. HTTP 429 also sends Retry-After. Defaults: 60/min general, 20/min classify, 10/min auth.
